Pino Pipoli is an artist of multifaceted activities, who observes his reality and his surroundings, as well as what remains unseen, through different instruments – painting, installation, sound, setting – achieving deep and troubled forms of both knowledge and oblivion. He has chosen the spaces of Tender to Doppelgaenger in order to set up his own personal time capsule, a distillation emerging from a pile of boxes, closed for years in the home of his childhood and youth. He brings to the streets, and puts on display, an intimate space, in which his private life and its collective reflection can be spied upon, as if they no longer belonged to him, or rather, as if they belonged to everyone.
